The materials and their reliability are what we focus on. For this reason we have created an internal lab where carrying out the tests. The instruments setting and the correct method application are periodically inspected by qualified external parties which eventually will issue the related certifications. The tests carrying out in our lab are:

Protection treatments test (galvanization and painting)

Certifications of the materials utilized are also available and they can be double checked by our Lab by carrying out further chemical spectrometric analysis and destructives tests. Our technicians are qualified Level 2 UNI EN 473 / ASNT CIC-PND / API RP2X for the following test:

X-Rays

Particularly for X-Rays we charge few specialized external parties. BIT Spa disposes of personnel, specialized in Welding and Anticorrosion with the qualifications of International Welding Engineer (IWE) and NACE Coating Inspector Lev. 2. Our welding procedures (submerged arc, gas-shielded arc and electron welding) are certified by the Italian Navy Register, the Lloyd’s Register of Shipping and the Italian Institute of Welding. BIT Spa is also certified as per the following standards:
